CAPSULE WARDROBE was a term coined in the 70s by Susie Faux, a fashion influencer owner of a boutique in London called "Wardrobe" A Capsule Wardrobe is a collection of essential classic garments that we can mix and match for different occasions. Classic apparel is timeless, and we do not have to worry that it will ever go out of fashion.
Things that we should consider before compiling the Capsule Wardrobe are color, body type, season, complexion, and of course, budget. We recommend neutrals and noncolors. It is easier to mix, match, and style for different occasions. Figuring out what type of cut it suits our body type. Too tight clothes look classless and too lose clothes look sloppy. Capsule Wardrobe Part One has 12 clothing pieces today. We picked five blazers and seven skirts for different occasions as an inspiration and suggestion for a capsule wardrobe makeover.
